VINCENT VAN GOGH SUNFLOWERS

Sunflowers were among Vincent van Gogh’s favorite subjects to paint.

His most famous series featured more than a dozen sunflowers arranged in an earthenware pot. The moment he painted his first bouquet, he proclaimed to his brother Theo, “I’m painting with the gusto of a Marseillais eating bouillabaisse, which won’t surprise you when it’s a question of painting large Sunflowers.” Excited, he painted four canvases in quick succession.

Our delightful lantern is inspired by a painting Vincent did from memory in 1889 to bring some sunny warmth into the winter months.

We accept returns until January 1st for unused products in their original packaging. Just ship it to us at Modgy, 544 S. Green Rd., Cleveland, OH 44121.
